Theme music.

Most of the stuff on this blog is the stuff that we've done, but I thought I might also throw up some stuff that I think is "influental" or "inspirational". I'm not really doing the music for AB games, but I think a lot about game sound design and whenver I hear a good piece of music I always make a mental note.

Along those lines, I think that Battlefield 1943 has maybe the best theme music from a video game in the last 5 years. At least from music in the "Marshal" style. It was composed and arranged by Ian Livingstone the same guy who did the music for THQ's company of heroes.

GUI Interface - Main Menu

I'm starting to go through and update the GUI for the Game. here's my first pass. Mainly I'm trying to make the buttons and interface seem more "computer like" to give you the sense that you are actually at the controls of one of the Amelthea's stations:
